It's almost time for school! Time for the yearly trip back to Diagon Alley. New books, potion ingredients, and robe fittings? Absolutely. First years? Go get your wands. More importantly, now's the time to catch up with old friends and see how they've been over the summer.

If it's your first time to Diagon Alley, maybe you can catch someone heading in to show you the way? Don't worry, there's always a helpful witch or wizard about to guide the Muggleborns to the right location if they get a little lost!

[Finn was never one to really care much about the Gryffindor/Slytherin rivalry that went on, unless it was on the Quidditch field. So he has no trouble at all approaching Danny once he's got his own robe fitted, and was about to head out to get the rest of his school supplies.

'Sides, what are Houses between friends...right?]

[Honestly, Danny couldn't care less himself. What was the point of being outright nasty to someone just because they weren't in the same house? His school back in the US didn't even bother with houses. Healthy competition was one thing, but sometimes his fellow Slytherins would take things way too far.]

[He grins and waves as the other approaches him.]

Awesome! I was just browsin' through the book store, tryin' to find stuff on magical creatures.

[He lifts a small bag with a few of his purchases with a grin.]

I'm seriously jazzed about Care of Magical Creatures this year. I was hopin' I'd be able to buy an owl too, since I can't bring Jake to school, but I don't have enough cash for one.

[Birds are expensive man.]

[He whistles.] I hear that class is a doozy. Good luck!

[But then he frowns. If he had money he'd lend it to him, but sadly he had just enough to get his supplies this year and that was about it.]

Mmm like....all of it. After payin' for my supplies, I'm gonna be flat broke.
