It's almost time for school! Time for the yearly trip back to Diagon Alley. New books, potion ingredients, and robe fittings? Absolutely. First years? Go get your wands. More importantly, now's the time to catch up with old friends and see how they've been over the summer.

If it's your first time to Diagon Alley, maybe you can catch someone heading in to show you the way? Don't worry, there's always a helpful witch or wizard about to guide the Muggleborns to the right location if they get a little lost!

Then I understand. The way some people like to dress up confuses me.

Me too! [ Jack grinned. ] It might look cool, but how do you do anything in it, am I right? I like my fashion functional.

[ She picked up the ends of her braids, showing off the ribbons on the end. ] They're cute, plus they keep my hair tied up. Perfect, am I right? [ Jack winked. ]

[Eep nodded enthusiastically.]

You have to be able to do things. If you can't do thing, it's boring.

[And she would know.]

I like you ribbons! They're pretty.

I wouldn't be able to do that. [ There was a mischievous glint in her eye. ] Gotta be able to move, otherwise I'll just waste away~

[ Jack brightened at the compliment. ] Thanks! I was hoping to pick up some new ones while I was here. Spice up the collection and all that.

[ She looked over at the high-class store. ] Just not, you know, here-here. Their ribbons probably cost a fortune.

[eep]

Me too! [But try telling that to her father.]

Yeah, the ones here must cost a lot. There must be better places to find some.

[ Jack nodded. ] Madame Malkin's has an alright collection, and a couple other little places around here have some cute ones. You just gotta look in the right place.

[ She gave Eep a bright smile. ] Would you like to come with? You might even find something you like~

[ Jacklyn waggled her eyebrows. ]

[Eep beams at the offer. She's not really the type to care about ribbons and such things, though she meant it when she said she liked them on Jack. Anyway, her style or not, it sounds fun.]

Yeah! I'll come.

Great!

[ Jacklyn offered Eep her arm, with a mock serious expression. ]

Milady?~

[ The fake British accent was a nice addition, right? ]

[Eep laughed and took Jack's arm with a grin. She definitely had more guy friends than girl ones - or at least, it felt that way most of the time. That didn't bother her, but it was still nice to hang out with a girl.]
