A New School Year [OPEN LOG]

It's almost time for school! Time for the yearly trip back to Diagon Alley. New books, potion ingredients, and robe fittings? Absolutely. First years? Go get your wands. More importantly, now's the time to catch up with old friends and see how they've been over the summer.

If it's your first time to Diagon Alley, maybe you can catch someone heading in to show you the way? Don't worry, there's always a helpful witch or wizard about to guide the Muggleborns to the right location if they get a little lost!

Oh- um. Yeah. Pretty much everything in here?

Heh, I figured. ..Have you seen anything on mythical creatures though dude? ...That's kinda what I'm after in here.

Actually, yeah. I saw a small section a few rows over for that. Are you looking for mythical creatures from a muggle point of view or like, creatures that are still mythical, even to wizards.

Mmmm...both.

Just- anythin' on mythical creatures in general actually. I really wanna read up on the kinds of creatures found in the Forbidden Forest, specifically.

[Dipper paused to think about that seriously. Then, he flipped to a clean page in his notebook, jotted down a few names and tore it out, handing it to him.]

[Finn scans the titles quickly before stuffing the page into his pocket.]

So I-...I guess I'll see you at Hogwarts then?

[Hrk. There's a visible hesitation, but then he grins.]

Yeah. Um, I'll see you there.

[Well, he kind of hopes he won't run into too many people, but it would be way suspicious if he said no, and this guy found him in the library.]
