It's almost time for school! Time for the yearly trip back to Diagon Alley. New books, potion ingredients, and robe fittings? Absolutely. First years? Go get your wands. More importantly, now's the time to catch up with old friends and see how they've been over the summer.

If it's your first time to Diagon Alley, maybe you can catch someone heading in to show you the way? Don't worry, there's always a helpful witch or wizard about to guide the Muggleborns to the right location if they get a little lost!

I didn't read them for someone else- I just read them. Magic is interesting.

Isn't there cooler stuff to read, like comic books? [Muggle or magical, a text book was still a text book...]

Besides, isn't there more stuff in Obscurus if you're just reading for fun. This place mostly has Hogwarts school stuff, after all.

I've already been there and took down an extensive list. [He opens his notebook and shows it off. It's. Yeah. Quite a list.]

I know it does. That's kind of the point.

[He takes a moment to actually look at the list, and yes, he's actually looking at it, not just pretending to.]

Sooooo, you're shopping extra for school supplies? 'Cause I think a lot of this stuff is the stuff on my list.

[He shuts his notebook and shrugs. Ugh. Raz is just going to keep asking if he isn't point blank with him.]

I want to keep up with Mabel.

What, for fun? I mean I know you're a total dork, but getting two sets of stuff sounds expensive.

[And he was pretty sure he wasn't actually gonna do Mabel's homework.]

[You can see the internal debate before Dipper sighs dramatically and motions Raz to come closer.]

I'm not going to need to buy them. I found a secret passage into the school.

[Raz obliged, of course; but when he heard what Dipper had to say, he immediately reeled back in excitement.]

Seriously?! [Thankfully before he kept going he-- sort of, brought his volume down and grabbed Dipper's shoulders in excitement because oh boy oh man--] You're gonna sneak into School with us?!

Keep it down! [He lets Raz shake him for a few seconds before he pries him off.]

But, yes. Yes, I am.

[Raz brought his hands back to his own sides, only to bring them up and half shelter his mouth from view as he snickered with excitement.]

Oh man, this is gonna be so great! You're gonna be in the same classes as me and Mabel and Norman, right?! I mean I guess you could pretend to be a first year but that'd be kind of weird....

Oh no, no, I won't be sneaking into classes. Are you kidding? I'd get caught day one.

[He motions for him to come closer again. This is top secret Raz.]

I'm only sneaking into the library right now. I'm going to figure out a way to unlock my magic, then i'll be in class with everyone.

[Top secret was of course the best kind of secret.

He obliged the motion, leaning closer and being sure to keep his voice in a hushed tone.]

Oh man, that is so cool! Don't worry, I'll totally help you look whenever I can!

Hm... but whatever you're looking for's probably gonna be in the restricted section, don't you think?
